Private Airline
NovoAir is a private airline in Bangladesh. It provides passenger services mainly to domestic destinations. The airline operates a total of 25 flights to 9 destinations daily.
NovoAir launched in October 2006 as an aviation service provider. Originally, NovoAir started its journey with the initiative of directors Arshad Jamal, Faizur Rahman Badal, Fayez Khan and Mofizur Rahman as a step towards diversifying the business activities of “Tusuka Group” (Parent Company). In order to expand its business, NovoAir took steps to establish Schedule Airlines in late 2011.
As a result, on January 9, 2013, Embraer launched its first commercial flight with 145 jet aircraft. Embraer was later added to the ATR 72-500 fleet instead of the fleet. NovoAir currently operates international flights to all domestic destinations and Kolkata.
